Palo Santo Kuripe
The Palo Santo Kuripe Hapé Applicator is a meticulously crafted tool designed for the self-administration of Hapé. Unlike the Tepi, which is used to administer Hapé to another person, the Kuripe allows for personal, intimate engagement with this sacred medicine. Typically measuring approximately 3.5 inches on the long side and 2.5–3 inches on the short side, the Kuripe is lightweight, portable, and ideal for personal ceremonies or meditative practices.
Crafted from Palo Santo, or "holy wood," derived from the Bursera graveolens tree native to South America, this Kuripe is both functional and deeply symbolic. Palo Santo is renowned for its aromatic properties, releasing a sweet, invigorating scent of pine, mint, and lemon when burned or used in ritual. Its spiritual and therapeutic qualities make it a cherished material in indigenous traditions, particularly among Andean shamans and healers known as Curanderos.
